Hey everyone--I sure wish I could be at the reunion this weekend but I am knee deep in grapes in Sonoma County, California! I left IHS after freshman year and my family moved to the SF Bay Area, where I finished high school in San Mateo. I went to Univ of CA Davis and got BS in Frementation Science in 1978--I have been a winemaker for 48 harvests now, and since 2000 I have owned my own winery, Carol Shelton Wines, with my husband Mitch Mackenzie. I would dearly love to reconnect with anyone who remembers me frm Girl Scouts, Miss Botsford's ballroom dance classes (?!) or any other time. Zoom, anyone?!
My email address is carol@carolshelton.com Please come visit if you are in northern CA for fun or work!
we moved to CA after freshman year, in late 1971.

Sorry to miss the reunion again, will try to make it if we have a 50th!
Update on our burnt home—with 5000 homes lost at one time, there have been shortages of labor and supplies so progress is slow still. We have the basic structure done but NO drywall, flooring, roofing, etc are done yet. Projected completion is late October, over 2 yrs since the Tubbs Fire roared thru here. We are fine, getting a bit creaky at the joints, and winery is going great— 35% growth in sales vs last year! Planning to build a new winery next year, have outgrown our old warehouse. Come see us if you visit north of SF!

Sorry to miss the reunion— it would be fun to reconnect since I moved away in 1971.
We lost our home in October 2017 wild fires here, rebuilding is going slowly.
Our winery is doing well, made it to the cover of Wine Spectator last year! Also have had 2 wines in their Top 100 Wines of the world over the past few years, a real honor.
Come see us if you are ever close to Santa Rosa!
