I fondly remember Marc Samuels from our days at Iroquois. He was a big guy for his age, and we got into some good wrestling matches under the tutelage of Mr. Ogerfeller!

We were unlikely friends...and yet we were. Thinking of Marc and his tremendous spirit makes me smile.

Marc had been a wonderful friend to my sister-in-law's long ago deceased brother, Ronnie Graupman. It must have been almost 20 years since they last saw each other. I hope that they will bump into each other in Heaven.

Just saw this posting. Guess I need to stop by more. What I remember most about Marc was what a phenominal musician he was. Excellent singer/guitarist. I used to go see his band all the time.

I have been so saddened by hearing of Marc's passing. It's been ages since I've been on this site and may just not have noticed it the last time I visited.
Marc and and I made music together for years. I have hours and hours of recordings of the two of us just enjoying each other's company as we jammed and made up songs. He was a true friend and I will cherish those memories...and those recordings, many of which I still have.

I remember when Marc sang a solo from "Mary Poppins'" "Chim Chim Cher-ee" during a concert in something like fourth grade. What a beautiful voice!
